- In life and business there can be a focus on constant re-invention but what does that even mean? To invent means creation of new resulting from study and experimentation.
- To reinvent means change (something) so much that it appears to be entirely new.
- So do we really want to reinvent ourselves? Entirely new? That seems like a lot of work and rather unnecessary. Re being the separated form or Res in Latin meaning “about that thing” So about the invention. Why not invent. Seems easier than going back to the original and working it into something new. If we invent, we get to start where we are as a result of our learning and go from there. No more going back to go forward.
